We are closed.
Since we were forced to close our doors, we have been incredibly touched
by the support our audience members have shown us. We really appreciate the
lovely messages of encouragement and support that we have received, as well as
the generous donations made in lieu of refunds.
Government guidance remains that theatres cannot open and there will be a lot of work required to make sure we'll be able to welcome you back to the Rose Theatre when it's safe to do so. We do not receive any public funds, so the vast majority of our revenue comes from ticket sales.
While the theatre is closed, we have no regular income but we still have significant bills to pay and those will increase before our revenue does.
Before we reopen, it is likely we have to make some changes to our building and our way of working to ensure the safety of our members, staff and audiences.
In order to survive, we are depending on the support and loyalty of our community through this crisis, but with your help, the Rose will bloom again.
There are several ways to donate...
Please make your cheque payable to: The Nonentities’ Society and write your postcode and “Donation” on the back. Please post it to: The Nonentities’ Society, The Rose Theatre, Chester Road North, Kidderminster DY10 2RX.
We can accept bank transfers that are clearly marked donations. To donate this way, please contact the volunteer administrative staff at firstname.lastname@example.org but please note you may experience a delay in response as we do not have someone dealing with these matters every day.
